The Traffic Violation Photo and Video Recording System is a part of the Advanced Traffic Management System (ATMD) developed by VoiceLink. Its goals are:

  • Monitoring whether the motorists follow traffic rules;
  • Collecting, storing and processing data from photo and video recording devices installed on a specific road or within the road network;
  • Sending data to the police’s automated traffic violation processing facility;
  • Storing data for as long as required by the legislation and retrieving video data that serves as evidence for traffic violations;
  • Processing data which allows for automated drafting of administrative offence judgments (traffic tickets).

 The system comes with the “Visor” Photo and Video Recording Complex that is capable of monitoring the following traffic violations:

  • Speeding;
  • Driving on the lane reserved for public transport;
  • Crossing the stop line at a red light;
  • Crossing the intersection at a red light;
  • Driving on the oncoming lane;
  • Crossing the solid line or driving on it;
  • Crossing the double solid line or driving on it;
  • Driving contrary to the traffic signs;
  • Parking and (or) stopping in the unauthorized area;
  • Driving with turned off (out-of-service) running lights at the designated time of day;
  • Driving where it is forbidden to drive or driving in the wrong direction opposite to the designated direction.

In addition to this, the Photo and Video Recording Complex can be used to monitor the real time traffic conditions both manually or using automated video detection and video analytics tools.

However, the ATMD Traffic Violation Photo and Video Recording System developed by VoiceLink can be used with any photo and video recording complexes provided that they support standard data exchange protocols. The Photo and Video Recording System can be integrated with police’s automated traffic violation processing facility in accordance with all police guidelines and technical specifications.
