Video Surveillance Systems

Video Surveillance Systems help you prevent theft, unauthorized access and criminal activities within the protected area, as well as protect the area from terrorist threat or other malicious actions.

Video Surveillance System goals:

  • gathering data that makes it possible to investigate events that have taken place within the protected area;
  • reducing the number of contingencies and immediately notifying responsible persons in the event thereof;
  • monitoring the situation in any part of the facility and in remote areas.

 Video Surveillance System advantages are:

  • eliminating human error: the system is recording round the clock;
  • footage playback: you can watch the video surveillance archive at any time;
  • rapid response: the system makes it possible to quickly assess the situation throughout the facility in the event of a contingency;
  • surveillance in hazardous areas: the system allows for surveillance of areas unsafe for humans (with hazardous gasses or high radiation level).

Modern video surveillance systems do not only carry out visual control, but ensure comprehensive facility protection thanks to integration with other systems. They include:

  • Access Control System (ACS);
  • Fire Alarm System;
  • Video Analytics System.

Video Analytics Systems

Video Analytics is a technology that employs various computer vision techniques in order to produce data by analysing the video frame sequence of a real time CCTV feed or archive footage.

The most common Video Analytics types are:

  • Facial Recognition Systems automatically detect and capture high quality images of faces from video streams. Those images are stored and can be used to identify the person by comparing selected facial features of the image with the face database in real time or when working with the footage archive.
  • Anomaly Detection Systems do not only detect an object and trace its movements, but also classify object’s behavior following the rules specified by the user. Anomaly Detection reduces operator workload: he does not need to constantly analyse all the objects captured by the camera, which eliminates human error from the system.
  • Number Plate Recognition is used to read vehicle registration plates and to analyse their movements with data from multiple cameras.
  • Industrial Video Analytics is used for process monitoring, production quality assurance and optimizing production and processes.
  • Business Video Analytics is used for business management, staff productivity assessment, business process optimization and customer behaviour research. Business Analytics features advanced tools for processing data and making reports. In some cases it is possible to omit personal data from reports.

VoiceLink possesses capabilities for designing and installing Video Surveillance and Video Analytics security systems at any types of facilities. Our services include:

  • surveying the facility and identifying areas that require video surveillance;
  • making a list of equipment required for setting up the system;
  • identifying optimal locations for installing the cameras to ensure maximum surveillance area and selecting ideal camera models;
  • advising on the video analytics system architecture and recommending solutions by trusted suppliers;
  • system installation and commissioning;
  • after-sales service.
