Video Detection and Video Analytics Subsystem

VoiceLink offers solutions for video monitoring of real-time traffic conditions on highways and within urban road networks.

Video Detection and Video Analytics Subsystem (VDVAS) is a part of Intelligent Transportation System. Its goals are:

  • Receiving, decoding and recording video from video detectors;
  • Playing video;
  • Remotely controlling video detectors;
  • Automatically detecting events;
  • Storing video archive long enough to review contentious cases of traffic rules violations and road accidents.

Our VDVAS consists of the core which implements video analytics algorithms and peripheral equipment. The equipment it supports is not limited to video cameras, but also includes radar and thermal surveillance devices. Data from these devices allows the system to accurately detect the following types of events:

  • Vehicles moving in the wrong-way direction opposite to the designated travel direction of the road;
  • Stationary vehicles;
  • Vehicle stopping at an unauthorized area (for an amount of time exceeding the allowable limit);
  • Presence of pedestrians in the control zone;
  • Occupancy of areas designated by the user.

Our VDVAS solution has a modular structure, allowing you to only choose the VDVAS subsystems required to solve application-specific tasks. What is more, VDVAS supports standard protocols for integration with other systems. Apart from Intelligent Transport Systems, it can also be integrated with various external automation and information systems: Advanced Traffic Management Systems, Complex Security Systems, Security CCTV, etc.
